The deadline for proposals to be submitted is 21st December and the contract will run from 1st February 2008 for at least 3 years (with a possibility of a 2 year extension).

Newquay Cornwall Airport – Passenger Taxi Transport Service

Description:

This tender, the operation of a passenger taxi transport service, to be based at newquay cornwall airport has been prepared by the newquay cornwall airport (nca or the airport) commercial team on behalf of cornwall airport ltd.

The contract and prices will be effective from 1 february 2008 and run for a period of three years with the possibility of a further two year extension, subject to the achievement of agreed performance targets.

The submission deadline for proposals is 21 december 2007 and the offer must be binding on the company submitting the tender for at least 120 days after this date. It is important that the proposals include information on how the submitting company will respond to the environmental policy of the airport and help cornwall airport ltd to introduce a shared taxi service.

The letting of this new passenger taxi service coincides with a major terminal investment project designed to increase the overall passenger numbers, realise the airport’s full commercial potential and improve passengers experience of using the airport. Newquay cornwall airport seeks innovative and customer driven partners to secure this commercial potential while maintaining its reputation for the highest passenger service.
