Two days of fun for everyone with the Discover Newquay Treasure Hunt!

To celebrate Cornwall Chamber of Commerce Business Week, Newquay Chamber of Commerce and Tourism have organised a Treasure Hunt on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd based around the Newquay Discovery Trail through the town.

Open to everyone and free to participate in, the event follows the first eight Discovery Discs of the Hetty Trail from the Killacourt to Fore St, up and around the headland and back through Tower Road and Crantock St, and down through the town to the Victoria Hotel.

In collaboration with Newquay First members many local shops are taking part by hosting clues on, or inside, their premises. The questions and clues relate to the history detailed on the map itself or are associated with locations on route, a great activity for visitors and locals alike!

A map and quiz sheet will be available free from Newquay TIC from 10am on both days and those taking part can return their completed sheets to the TIC for entry into a prize draw for a fantastic Newquay Gift Hamper to which participating shops have donated prizes!
